You can reach out via the contact form, Instagram, WhatsApp or email. Our team will help you find a time that suits your schedule and answer any questions. After payment confirmation, you're all set, and you'll get a meeting link 15 minutes before the session begins.
Can I reschedule a session?
Yes — just let us know at least 24 hours before your scheduled time. Late cancellations may be considered a no-show and subject to our session policy. You can learn more about it here.
What happens if I don’t join a session?
If you’re unable to join within 10–15 minutes of the start time and we haven’t heard from you, the session will be treated as a no-show.
Do you have any introductory/trial sessions?
We don’t offer free trial sessions, as each session is comes with the therapist's time, expertise and prpreparednss. That said, you’re welcome to ask any questions or clarifications before finalising your first session, feel free to get complete clarity before you proceed.

Sessions and Booking
Session Experience
What happens in the first session?
In the first session, your therapist will start with understanding what you're going through right now, gather any necessary information, clarify any doubts and questions, and explain the process of therapy. They will also start creating a plan for you to meet your goals, something you both will progressively do together.
Will I be given homework?
It depends. When matching you with a therapist, if it comes forth that you progress best with homework, small tasks and more tangible structure, then yes, but only if it suits you and it is what you want. The work is always shaped around you.
How many sessions would I need?
There’s no set number. Some people come for a short time, others stay longer. We’ll find a pace that feels right for you.
Can I call or message outside of sessions?
To keep the space supportive and contained, we don’t offer therapy, coaching or any other services through calls or messages outside of scheduled sessions. Outside of sessions, any correspondance would be about booking, queries and other logistics and should not be considered as a service.
Do you offer text or chat therapy?
No — meaningful reflection and connection happen best through live conversation, and chat therapy has not been well studied or established as a mode of effective treatment.
Can I call my therapist in case of an emergency?
No, it is to be noted that we are not a crisis/emergency service. If you’re in immediate danger or distress, please contact local emergency services or a crisis helpline first. Here are some numbers to start with.
Do you offer therapy to minors?
We do not currently offer therapy to anyone under the age of 18, but are working to increase out range. Check back again soon.
Is this suitable if I’ve tried therapy before?
Yes, many people arrive after trying other approaches or services and feeling that it wasn't for them, or nothing necessarily negative, just that they needed a change. We can assess what was done earlier and build on it.
Duration and Frequency
Can I stop or pause anytime?
It is strongly reccomended that you don't stop or pause the process while it is going on; therapy is something that builds on itself and there will be days where you come out feeling your best, and days less so. Its important to let all that happen, that precisely, is what will help you heal and get you to where you want to go. If something is going on, you can schedule around that and your therapist will work with you to accomodate sessions around that.
How long is each session?
Unlike traditional models, sessions are a full 60 minutes, to ensure you're getting the time you need to share and make it easier to adapt to.
Payment and Policies
How are payments handled?
Payment is accepted through UPI/GPay/Paytm/PhonePe/Bank Transfer/Remitly/Wise. Payment is required to secure your slot. If payment is not received at least 24 hours in advance, it might result in an automatic cancellation of your slot and you would need to rebook.
Can I use insurance?
Coverage depends on your provider, and we are more than happy to provide receipts for your payments.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations less than 24 hours are considered as short notice and is charged the full price of the session. Sessions can be held for 10 minutes from the appointment time, and will have to be cancelled after that and will be considered a no-show. If you are going to be late, there's an emergency or something is going on, let me know and adjustments can be made, within reason.
What is your refund policy?
Session time is non-refundable.
Do you offer discounts?
Yes, we have discounted packages for multiple sessions purchased in advance, and this also helps you not worry about payment each time you have a session. We also have a subscription at as less as 1800, for more details, see here.
How do subscriptions work?
The subscription was created to be able to provide therapy at more affordable rates, and also take the weight of booking and paying each time off you. Subcriptions are subject to the same policies as packages or one time sessions. They are cancellable anytime, but cannot be bought back to back, You will have to wait 3 months before purchasing again.
What if I have a package, and skip a week?
That's not a problem, you can use that for your next session the upcoming week. Unused time rolls over from month to month, but is forfeited after 3 months of not receiving contact from the client, or 6 months from the date of purchase. If things are going great, something is going on with you, or you need a break, let us know and we can see how to work with that.
International and Coaching
Do you work with clients outside India?
Yes. If you’re based outside India, sessions are offered as coaching, with the same depth, care, and thoughtfulness. This is simply because even as a licensed professional, you are by law restricted to your jurisdiction, like your country, or in some places like the US, your state.
Will they understand Indian cultural context?
Of course, those you will be matched with have been in the same situation and dealt with the unique set of challenges that comes with living abroad. It can feel isolating and and strangely disorienting. Cultural background, identity, and the experience of living between worlds are all held with care and understanding.
Is coaching different from therapy?
The intention is the same — to support insight and meaningful change. The difference is mainly in naming and regulatory context. We won't be able to offer sessions specifically as 'treatment', but coaching sessions gets the same depth, attention to detail and rigor as therapy sessions.
Do I need to prepare anything for the first session?
There’s no need to prepare anything unless you’d like to, and if you would like to, we're more than happy to go through it and give it the attention it deserves.
Do you work with those in the LGBTQ+ community?
Absolutely, all therapists at Epiphany are trauma informed and queer affirmative. Everyone is welcome here.
